My name is Johanna, and I am here to share my love for handmade artistry with the wider world. 

 

I was trained as an architect in India. After getting married, I moved to the United States and worked here for a couple of years as a designer at an architectural firm. My husband and I then moved to Tanzania where I worked for a year and a half as an English teacher, and assistant to the academic dean of the college. While there I also worked on a few interior projects for the college. After our time in Africa, we moved back to the States, and had the joy of becoming parents. 

 

I have enjoyed being a full time stay-at-home-mom with my son. 

Now that he is in school, I have time to dedicate to my creative passions, and make unique, custom items just for you! Hence, Jo'S-pace!
