The idea of making dreamcatchers (a Native American artifact) started when I was trying to figure out what to make for my friend's baby shower. I wanted to make something that was unique and special for the baby and her parents. After searching around Pinterest for a while, I stumbled upon some dreamcatchers. I have always loved the legend behind the origin of dreamcatchers, and decided that I would make one for my friend's baby. I customized it to the color and elephant theme of the baby's nursery. My friends loved it!
